Our good buddies over at Forbes have been jiggling thier format a little lately, that jiggling is starting to pay off. Forbes articles are now much more, well, NOW. One of our favorite contributors - Nigam Arora - has just posted a superlative piece on Apple’s future, Tim Cook and the shape of things to come for this new marriage. The biggest threat to Apple comes from neither Google nor Microsoft . The biggest threat is not from any external competitor, nor from any new technology. The biggest threat to Apple is a drift to the management-by-committee structure. Without a visionary leader like Jobs, Apple may drift towards a group-think structure where most of the key decisions are made by committees. A large number of major corporations are run by committees. In the corporate world, committees are pervasive starting from middle management all the way to the top. READ MORE
